As the Institute of Educational Sciences of Dokuz Eylül University, our approach to quality is based on the effective, transparent, participatory, and sustainable execution and continuous improvement of graduate education and training, research and development, social contribution, and management processes.
Our Institute carries out its quality assurance activities in alignment with our University’s quality policies and strategic goals, valuing the opinions and suggestions of students, academic and administrative staff, alumni, and other stakeholders as a vital input for the improvement of our processes.
In our quality efforts, the following are adopted as core principles:

To enhance the quality of our education-training and research processes, data, feedback, and evaluation results obtained are regularly monitored, and necessary improvement activities are carried out in accordance with the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle.
Our Institute aims for the culture of quality to be embraced by all stakeholders and for quality assurance processes to be reflected across all activities of the Institute. Accordingly, we regularly monitor and evaluate our quality efforts and develop them in line with the results obtained.
The Institute of Educational Sciences implements a comprehensive Quality Assurance System aimed at the continuous improvement of education and training processes, increasing stakeholder satisfaction, and ensuring sustainable institutional development. This system is based on the cycle of planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and improvement, and aims to establish an effective quality culture across all units. Quality assurance activities are carried out in line with the decisions of the University Quality Commission. Activities in the areas of education, research, administrative services, and social contribution are regularly evaluated, reported, and shared with stakeholders.
